The first phase of the NAQUA projects was started in 1982. This has been a turning point in the history of the Kingdom as with it, the country has become a global seafood producer. Today, NAQUA is considered one of the largest aquaculture operations of its type in the world, offering consumers the opportunity to enjoy products that are grown in Saudi farms which are strategically located by the coast of the Red Sea in Saudi Arabia, 180 kilometers south of Jeddah.

ABOUT PROJECT

NAQUA is one of the world’s largest fully-integrated marine farms specializing in shrimp and fish production with a total investment of 4 billion SAR till date. The company has adopted a development strategy that revolves around sustainability through the adoption of environmentally sensitive production methods that help preserve the pristine natural environment. Over 4,000 employees work at NAQUA from 32 different nations to produce 100,000 tonnes of marine products per year. Our shrimps, fish and sea cucumber reach around 32 countries in the world including Japan, Korea, China, Australia, and the United States in addition to several European and Arab countries. The company's fresh products are also available at large local retailers across the Kingdom.

PROJECT GOALS

Magnetic brands depend on equally compelling internal and external communications. So i turned to the celebrated employee culture for inspiration. We created a communications map to illustrate how every stakeholder of Naqua could bring the coastal mindset to life in an impactful and authentic way. NAQUA is a national success story that reflects an ambitious vision. It came to us like a dream in the desert; a dream that was brought to life by the steadfast efforts of some of this nation's best and most loyal men. Now, we stand as one of the leading Aquaculturers in the world.
